The Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) is used in numerous Oracle products and cloud services, and is used for the development of client-side web applications and data visualization. Oracle JET has been integrated into Oracle Application Express (APEX) since version 5.1 and forms the basis for the new diagrams. APEX 18.1 is shipped with Oracle JET 4.x. In his recorded keynote speech at APEX Connect 2018, Marc Sewtz introduces the new diagram types and explains what to consider when upgrading to APEX 18.1 and JET 4.0.
